Rachel Saxelby | Closing and Transaction Manager
Ms. Saxelby coordinates and participates in all facets of the review and preparation of real estate purchase and sale agreements and related transaction documents for multifamily, condominiums, office, industrial, retail, land and development transactions, as well as the review and negotiation of real estate finance documents, including the preparation of lender required legal opinions, and associated entity documents. Ms. Saxelby manages all aspects of complex acquisitions, dispositions and financing transactions from inception to closing, and also assists in the review of title documents, surveys and other property and transaction related due diligence.
Prior to joining Grafitti Rosensteel & Hall, LLC, Ms. Saxelby served as an Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets for a national commercial real estate financing company where she was responsible for underwriting all commercial real estate asset types, sourcing financing, managing client relationships and handling all facets of the closing process on a national basis. She has closed approximately $1B in total loan and transaction volume and has deep and broad experience with the underwriting criteria, loan terms, closing processes and lender requirements for various debt and equity sources, including agency (FannieMae and FreddieMac), CMBS, life company, bank balance-sheet and bridge. Prior to her Capital Markets career, Ms. Saxelby served in marketing and transaction management for a multifamily investment brokerage sales team where she was responsible for preparing marketing packages, assisting clients in property level due diligence and managing the full transaction closing process. Ms. Saxelby has over 11 years of commercial real estate experience.
